Welcome to SurakshaStay ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SurakshaStay website, mobile application, and digital verification services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SurakshaStay.

You acknowledge that SurakshaStay is a technology platform that facilitates identity verification, digital register management, and compliance reporting for the hospitality sector. We are not a hotelier, a law enforcement agency, or a government body, although our tools assist in compliance with government regulations.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
• You have not been previously suspended or removed from our Services.
• Your registration and your use of the Services is in compliance with any and all applicable laws and regulations.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. SurakshaStay is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your password.

SurakshaStay employs advanced OCR and facial recognition technology to verify guest identities. Users agree to:

• Provide valid, government-issued identification (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.).
• Consent to the processing of biometric data (facial features) for matching purposes.

Submission of forged, manipulated, or stolen identification documents is a criminal offense and will be reported to authorities immediately.

When using our Services, you agree NOT to:

• Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, or national law.
• Attempt to bypass or hack the identity verification system.
• Harass, threaten, or defraud other users or hotel staff.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.
• Use automated scripts to scrape data from the Services.

SurakshaStay strives for 99.9% uptime, but we do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may suspend service for maintenance, updates, or in the event of a cyber-attack or force majeure.

The SurakshaStay platform, including its code, design, logos, and algorithms, is the exclusive property of SurakshaStay. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SurakshaStay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SurakshaStay, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:

• You violate these Terms.
• You are involved in fraudulent or criminal activity.
• Law enforcement requests the suspension of your account.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the terms.
